Standing with Survivors: FLEX Supports Genesis Women’s Shelter in South Oak Cliff

Earlier this month, FLEX Partners had the pleasure of sponsoring Genesis Women's Shelter & Support’s First Ladies Bruncheon, a special event benefiting the Genesis Women's Shelter's non-residential office and thrift store in Southern Dallas, Genesis at South Oak Cliff in DFW.

It was powerful and inspiring to hear the stories of women who have transformed from victim to advocate and how the services provided by Genesis are changing lives in an area significantly impacted by domestic violence of all forms.

⭐ The South Oak Cliff shelter's community has some of the highest domestic violence rates in DFW.

⭐ Genesis' mission is to build safer homes and stronger communities by offering the support and resources needed to end the cycle of violence. Together, we can create a future where every woman feels safe, valued, and supported.

⭐ Genesis offers advocacy, individual and group counseling, and access to childcare while mom is receiving services. In addition to the outreach center, Genesis also has its very own thrift store, allowing their clients to shop for free.
